AI in Reality – Is Machine Learning Possible in Pharmaceutical Projects?
HEIME & SPITÄLER 5 | DECEMBER 2024
Artificial Intelligence (AI) refers to technologies that mimic human intelligence in an artificial manner. Machine Learning (ML), a subfield of AI, enables algorithms to learn from data. These algorithms range from simple linear regression to complex deep learning, which uses intricate neural networks for tasks such as image and speech processing. Neural networks imitate the functioning of the human brain in a simplified way, but they do not simulate neurochemical processes like dopamine release.
